Our MAK Y-Pipes are 3in Mandrel Bent from Aluminized Steel. They feature an off-road design, reducing airflow restriction in the exhaust system. They are a bolt in piece and install with relative ease. Our MAK Performance Ecoboost Truck picked up 2 tenths of a second and 2mph in the 1/4 mile from just adding our MAK Y-Pipe to the current exhaust system. Overall, the pipe is pretty nice. The only exception is that at 3" in diameter, It's difficult to keep the crossover pipe from hanging below the transmission cross member. This pipe is at least 3/4" below the cross member. For most vehicles, it would never be an issue, but on a truck like mine, I have to use a lot of caution going over speed bumps and driveway aprons. MAK would do well, in order to keep the volume of the crossover pipe, to make this section of the pipe in an oval shape to create more ground clearance. My truck is lowered about 5.5 inches, and I do have to have to pay attention to what is passing under the truck.

Great quality product and installation went fairly smooth. Only issue was the drivers downstream oxygen sensor wont fit on a 4x4. I had my Rear sensors turned off with a custom tune so I just got a plug from a local muffler shop to plug the hole. It would be perfect if they didn't put the rear o2 bungs in it at all, sent plugs for the rear bungs, or moved them further upstream where the factory sensor was. All in all I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for more performance and a high flowing y-pipe.
