This allows enthusiasts to reliably increaseboost and advance ignition timing without using high-octane racingfuel for power gains of up to 20%. AEM s Water/Methanol InjectionSystems utilize the most robust hardware combined with more advancedfeatures than any other comparably priced water/methanol system.

On turbo Diesel applications, water/methanol injection systems reduceair inlet temps and enhance combustion efficiency which allows theengine to deliver more power with less effort. It also offers a host ofbenefits that promote engine longevity, including the reduction ofcarbon deposits left by a Diesel s exhaust gas recirculation (EGR)system. AEM s Water/Methanol Injection Systems for turbo Diesel HDtrucks utilize the most robust hardware combined with more advancedfeatures than any other comparably priced water/methanol system.

The on-demand progressive Multi-Input controller in AEM s PN 30-3352tank-less Water/Methanol Injection kit features a multiple input designthat enables users to install AEM s Water/Methanol Injection Kit onboth high compression naturally aspirated vehicles (NA) via the MAF/IDCsettings and ultra-high boost gasoline or turbo Diesel vehicles usingan external MAP sensor. The Multi-Input controller works with anexternal 0-5v voltage-based external MAP sensor, a frequency basedinput for Injector Duty Cycle (IDC), frequency-based mass airflow(MAF), or a 0-5v voltage-based MAF.

AEM s engineers spent extensive time developing the controller s flowcontrol strategy for a more linear flow output delivery. This meansthat the flow delivery better matches an engine s need forwater/methanol injection, which further optimizes charge air cooling,detonation control on gasoline engines and EGT reduction on turboDiesels.

The new controller design features large, turn-resistant knobs andlarger numbering to easily set accurate start and full activationpoints, with covered status LED and test buttons for added splashresistance. A plug is integrated into the controller housing for matingto the redesigned wiring harness s positive-lock connector. TheMulti-Input controller has an easy-to-remove plug covering theprogramming dipswitches and a programming legend on the back for the0-5v and frequency based settings, an easy to access integrated fuseand molded mounting tabs.

AEM s Water/Methanol Injection System wiring harness is terminated witha positive-lock connector on one end and has color-coded wires to easeinstallation. Both the power and ground wires for the pump are includedin the harness which simplifies the wiring process and eliminates anychance of the pump accidentally activating from a short in the system.An additional wire is included for adding an optional on/off solenoidto stop fluid flow when the system is inactive.
