Easy InstallationThe BBK S550 Mustang catted midpipe is a direct fit with your BBK full length headers (1633/16330 or 1856/18560). The mid pipes come with oxygen sensor bungs in the factory location making installation a breeze. While not always necessary, a handheld tuner is recommended so that you can disable the rear oxygen sensors and avoid check engine lights. Because of the sensitive electronics on newer models, even midpidpes using high flow cats can sometimes cause a catalyst under-temp code.
Maximum Exhaust FlowHigh flow catalytic converters are used for better exhaust flow. This midpipe is designed from 3" mandrel bent aluminized steel for great exhaust flow. This part is not legal for use in California or any state that has adopted California emissions standards. Please check your state and local emissions laws to ensure compliance.
