Replace your factory plastic drain plug which is known to leak or strip out with the UPR Products Billet Aluminum drain plug with a built-in magnet.This uses a OEM style cam-lock which will seal like to the stock pan. The magnet will keep metal debris to be caught and not get into places it shouldn't. No need to replace the stock plug every time you change the oil or worry about it not sealing with this.

This fits:

2018-2023 Mustang GT 5.0L with a plastic oil pan
2015-2018 3.5L Ecoboost F150's with a plastic oil pan.
2015-2018 2.7 Ecoboost Engines with the plastic oil pan
2016-2023 GT350 engines with the plastic oil pan.

Note: DO NOT over tighten or touch the handle when the vehicle is hot. Use gloves and in a safe environment to remove from vehicle.

UPR drain plug

Replaced cheap OEM plastic drain plug with this one at first oil change, What a big difference. Have heard all the horror stories of the plastic ones breaking and now have no concerns of that ever happening in the future. May be a little costly for just a drain plug....But well worth it in the long run for the piece of mind.

First mod

This magnetic inserted drain plug is a very high quality item. It is an impressive part to look at and very easy to put into use. The only very minor flaw might be that it is too easy to use, even for the wrong person. What I mean by that is , with no tools at all anyone can remove this plug from the oil pan. With a jack , anyone could have your 10 quarts of liquid gold running all over the street or wherever your baby is parked. I feel much better by having the magnet to gather any ferrous particles that may be circulating in the pan. There are a lot of thoughts on the first oil change in the Ford mustang's coyote engine. Needed or not I feel much better by making my first oil change at about 1200 miles. It needed to come out to install the magnetic drain plug anyway. So ,now with a magnetic drain plug , a fresh oil filter, and 10 fresh quarts of liquid gold , I am ready to begin exploring the limits of this incredible coyote engine. I highly recommend this product ! I wish Ford could have put one in at the factory, but , LET THE MOD'S BEGIN !
